What people are saying about Boomtown…
"I just read the articles you posted up to January 13, 2024. I am impressed with the topics chosen, your writing style, and the photography. You are telling the stories I want to hear and that the community needs to hear. I appreciate the research you must have conducted to write the article and the subsequent investigative reporting. I want to support your continued good work. "
"Excited to support this endeavor. I will gladly increase my financial support once you're established with your content publication. This effort is long overdue and I'm beyond ready to support this new(er) media outlet for unvarnished truth."
I enjoyed this series as it broke my heart, and did share it on my Facebook page. Thanks for your excellent work and your team’s work too. I’m a paid subscriber because we must support longform.
We’d love to hear what you think! Send us an e-mail at editors@boomtownlosalamos.org

On April 12, Boomtown got to sit down as guests on The Richard Eeds Show. You can listen to our interview here.
On Saturday, May 11, LA Cares is hosting a food drive. We featured the important work of LA Cares in Part 2 of our homelessness and housing insecurity series (found here), and we are asking you to consider participating in the drive. Just place a bag of non-perishable food items by your mail box before 10am and your mail carrier, or a volunteer, will pick it up.
List of desired items are on the LA Cares website.
We hope you’ll consider sharing Boomtown with your friends, family, and anyone else who might be interested in the stories that affect all of us in Los Alamos.
