Pledges activated February 1, 2024

Thank you so much for supporting Boomtown. We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and encouragement from all of our subscribers and the community. Each new subscriber reinforces to us at Boomtown that our efforts are valued and desired. Our goal is to bring stories to the community that are not being told, diving deeper into topics of interest to all members of the Los Alamos community. We can truthfully report on these undertold stories because we’re not beholden to any corporate or government advertising.

Boomtown pledges

On February 1, 2024, we will be initiating Boomtown paid subscriptions. This means that on February 1, whichever subscription tier you have chosen to pledge will be automatically activated. We are in the beginning stages of creating a sustainable business model. As we move forward with this project, we’re reliant on the support of our readers, both financially and through readership. We’re working on creating a corner of the internet where people of the community can come together, figuratively and in some cases literally (keep an eye on this space for in-person Boomtown events!). Boomtown aims to become a true community, where we provide the building blocks for discussions critical to a town undergoing change. Honest discussions, with good information, will help us not only survive change, but thrive with it.
