Friday, October 24
Family Strengths Network Fall Party
10 am to noon — (also on Saturday, 10 am to noon)
3540 Orange Street
Free fall and Halloween themed activities, crafts, games, snacks, and a costume runway. Kids are invited to wear costumes or borrow from FSN’s dress-up bin.
PEEC-a-Boo at the Nature Center
4 pm to 6 pm
Free sensory-friendly activities including Halloween-themed encounters with animals that live in and around the nature center, campfire story time, cartoons in the planetarium, crafts, and treats.
Sensory-Friendly Halloween
4 pm to 6 pm
Las Cumbres-Los Alamos Center, 1060 Nugget Street
Quiet activities include face painting, bubbles, and a coloring station. There will be cotton candy and popcorn too.
Trick-or-Treat on Mainstreet
4 pm to 6 pm
Central Avenue will be closed to vehicles for ample strolling opportunities to get candy from local businesses and organizations. Download event map here.

This is Los Alamos High School Olions’ one-act play. General admission tickets are $10; 65 and older tickets are $8; student tickets are $5; free admission for LAPS staff.

Los Alamos Arts Council Pumpkin Glow
10 am to noon
Fuller Lodge
Pumpkin carving party at Fuller Lodge. The first 60 pumpkins are free (one per family). You can bring your own pumpkin, or buy one from the LAHS Choir Pumpkin Patch on site.
Drop off your pumpkin for display from noon to 4 pm. (Pick up your pumpkin from 9 pm to 10 pm, or leave it for compost.)
Pumpkin toddle for the youngest members of the community from 5 pm to dusk. Pumpkin Glow is from dusk to 9 pm.
Ghost Hunt
6:30 pm to 8 pm
Lower level of Betty Ehart Senior Center (follow the footprints from the Pumpkin Glow at Fuller Lodge).
Thermal cameras will be available for participants to use in detecting paranormal activity. Thanks to a collaboration with LAC Department of Public Utilities, these cameras can be checked out through the Library of Things and used at home to find energy leaks. You can also download the free FLIR ONE app for your phone or tablet.

Dive for Pumpkins
9 am to 11:30 am
Aquatic Center
Pumpkin retrieval begins at 10 am by age group; open swim until 11:30 am. Cost is $7 per person/per pumpkin if ticket purchased in advance, or $9 the day of the event.
