🚧 Roads & Traffic
Crews will be removing concrete barrier walls along Trinity Drive between 20th Street and Oppenheimer Drive, near Ashley Pond, through September 23. On Friday, September 19, crews will begin removing barrier walls between 6 am and 11 am, and will shift west bound traffic on Trinity Drive to the left lane. Vehicle and bicycle traffic will share one road.

Tiny Art Show
Mesa Public Library and White Rock Branch Library
Participate in the Tiny Art Show and youth mural project for Hispanic Heritage Month. Pick up a free art supply kit at either library before Friday, September 26.
Cycling in LA Survey
If you bicycle in Los Alamos County, make your voice heard on what’s going well, and what could use improvement, by taking the League of American Bicyclists Bicycle Friendly Community survey, open now through Sunday, October 5.
ACT MyRide Pilot Program Survey
Officials with Atomic City Transit would like the public’s opinions on its Saturday service pilot program through this brief survey. Even if you haven’t used the ACT Saturday service, officials would still like to hear from you. The survey is open until October 25. If you’d prefer a paper version, pick one up at the Municipal Building, Mesa Library, or White Rock Library, or request that one be mailed to you by emailing AtomicCityTranist@lacnm.us.

Presented by the Friends of the Senior Centers of Los Alamos, this event provides you a chance to declutter your home by donating your knicknacks, media, books, and clothes.
LAHS Homecoming Parade
2:30 pm
The parade route will be closed to vehicles from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. and the parade will begin at the Canyon School Complex (where Canyon Road meets Trinity Drive). It will travel down Central Avenue to Rose Street, and access to Central Avenue and 4th Street will be closed at the roundabout before the parade starts.

ACT MyRide Pilot Program
9 am to 5:30 pm
On-demand bus service around Los Alamos and White Rock. Reserve rides through the ACT MyRide app or by calling 505-661-RIDE. This service will be offered every Saturday through October 25.

“Lucky Ducky Day” Carnival Fundraising Event

$10/per person entry fee (optional souvenir duck racer $5/duck).
Duck races, carnival games, face painting, bounce houses, silent auction, raffle, craft, music, and more. Food will be available to purchase (or bring your own). All proceeds support the Family Strengths Network mission and work in the community.
Youth Mental Health First Aid Training
