Newcomer Adventure: Welcome to Los Alamos

Salute to Service
Mesa Public Library and White Rock Branch Library
In preparation for National Veterans and Military Families Month, the Los Alamos Public Library invites community members who have served in the armed forces to share memories and images for inclusion in a display and slideshow during November. The deadline for submissions is October 24. More details are available on the library’s website, by emailing libweb@losalamosnm.gov, or by calling either branch — Los Alamos 505-662-8250, White Rock 505-662-8265.
ACT MyRide Pilot Program Survey
Officials with Atomic City Transit would like the public’s opinions on its Saturday service pilot program through this brief survey. Even if you haven’t used the ACT Saturday service, officials would still like to hear from you. The survey is open until October 25. If you’d prefer a paper version, pick one up at the Municipal Building, Mesa Library, or White Rock Library, or request that one be mailed to you by emailing AtomicCityTranist@lacnm.us.

Free Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic

Flu vaccine will be available for ages 9 and older. High-dose flu vaccine will be available for those 65 and older, as supplies last.
ACT MyRide Pilot Program
9 am to 5:30 pm
On-demand bus service around Los Alamos and White Rock
Reserve rides through the ACT MyRide app or by calling 505-661-RIDE.
This service will be offered every Saturday until October 25.
