FAQ’s:
Do I need a prescription from my doctor?
No. See guidance from the NMDOH.
Will the vaccine be covered by my insurance?
Maybe. Start with where you get your prescriptions filled locally. Note that BCBS NM (i.e. LANL’s insurance provider) is still not accepted at Smiths.
What if I don’t have insurance?
The Los Alamos Public Health Office is closed until further notice. The NMDOH helpline (1-833-SWNURSE = 1-833-796-8773) is answered by a real person who has information about regional availability.
When will Boomtown update this page?
Every Sunday during the fall and winter.
The information above is provided as an information service to Boomtown readers. For medical advice, please consult your doctor or the NMDOH Helpline (1-833-SWNURSE = 1-833-796-8773).
