Local Fire Information for Los Alamos Residents

Santa Fe National Forest will be carrying out pile burning in the Jemez Mountains (2 miles north of Jemez Ranger Stations on Ponderosa Road) and Sangre de Cristo Mountains around the Santa Fe Ski Area.

A list of ongoing and completed prescribed fire projects for 2025-2026 is on the SFNF website.
